I’m thrilled to be one of a small group of certified BARE method coaches, personally trained by the originator of the BARE method herself. This process is incredible and I can’t wait to share it with you.
How it works.

Through coaching with a certified BARE method weight loss coach(ME!), you will learn:

How to manage your emotions (stress, anxiety, boredom, etc.) without turning to food for comfort, numbing, support, or entertainment.

– How to find sources of pleasure and excitement that are not food-related.

– How to cultivate more love and respect for your body, even if you are not currently living at your natural weight yet.

– How to tune into your body’s natural signals of hunger and fullness so that you understand when to start and stop eating, you leave meals feeling energized (not sluggish), and you never have to count calories again.

Learning to love your body and natural weight loss is a deeply personal process that depends on physical and emotional factors. Everyone is unique. That’s why it would be unethical for me to make promises like, “You will lose 10 pounds in 10 days, guaranteed!”

There are no “guarantees,” except this one: Once you learn how to manage your emotions without turning to food for comfort, support, numbing, shielding, distraction, or entertainment…and you live what you learn,  you will drop down to your natural weight, your body will change… and your life will transform, too.

The Process:

 I’ll guide you through the trademarked BARE method.

You’ll learn how to upgrade different areas of your life—like upgrading your morning routine, upgrading your environment at home, upgrading your eating habits, or choosing magazines, blogs, and TV shows that give you more power instead of draining you.

With each positive upgrade that you make, you’ll notice that the urge to overeat (or obsess over food) will begin to disappear. As your life begins to feel better, your body begins to look and feel different, too. That’s the BARE process.

You’ll complete several group challenges to move you into a braver life with less shielding and more strength.

What kinds of challenges? So glad you asked!

For starters: You are going to detox your closet and then shop for three outfits that make you feel hot — at your current size. (Because appreciating your body at your current weight… is THE secret to dropping to a lower weight.) You are going to try new forms of exercise. You are going to look at your naked body in the mirror with your eyes and heart open. You are going to take yourself out for a romantic meal. You will evaluate your friendships and the media you consume… and more.
